Transportation Available
The Sky Walk Arenal experience occurs at Sky Adventures Arenal, about 30 minutes from La Fortuna. After booking online, you will get a confirmation email with the Google Maps location with driving instructions to get here.
If you don’t have a car to get to us, you can add transportation for an additional fee when booking online. Type in the name and address of your Hotel/Airbnb, and we will happily pick you up 30 to 60 minutes before the tour starts. We’ll also take you back.
Flexible Cancellation
Our flexible cancellation policy allows you to cancel with a full refund up to 24 hours before the tour day. You can easily cancel online, directly from your confirmation email —no need to talk to someone, and no questions asked.
The Sky Walk Arenal Tour is generally open through most weather conditions (including rain). However, if there is challenging weather (such as a thunderstorm), we will work with you to reschedule or refund you.

Do the bridges move?
The hanging bridges at Sky Walk Arenal move slightly as you walk on them. However, you can grab the handles to keep your balance. Safety is a top priority, so the barriers on either side of the bridges are tall enough to prevent anyone from falling.
In any case, the bridges move so slightly that the chances of this happening are slim. We’ve been in the business for 25 years without any incidents and limit the number of visitors we allow to make the bridges even safer. This is why we recommend you book online ahead of time with as much anticipation as possible to secure your spots.
Can I go without a reservation?
Do you offer transportation?
If you don’t have a car to get to the park, we can provide a free shuttle service from your Arenal (La Fortuna) Hotel/Airbnb to the park and back to your Hotel/Airbnb. Our shuttles are large vans with A/C, and they pick up/drop off multiple customers simultaneously.
We have specific pickup times depending on your location, so after you book online, you will first receive your confirmation email, and then (a few hours later), you will get a follow-up email with the pickup time at your Hotel/Airbnb.
On the way back from the park to your Hotel/Airbnb, our shuttles also leave the park at specific times (usually every hour), so you may need to wait at the park’s reception for a while after you finish your activity. We work like this to minimize the number of cars on the road to keep up with our gas emissions target to remain a sustainable park.
Please note that some Hotel/Airbnb’s locations are advertised as part of Arenal or La Fortuna, when in reality, they are far away from town. And they might be outside our service area. If that is your case, we will let you know via a follow-up email, so that we can try to find a solution for you or cancel your reservation with a full refund.
Can I cancel a reservation?
We have a flexible cancelation policy.
After you book online, you will get an automatic confirmation email. This confirmation email contains a “Cancel” button, so you can easily cancel online without talking to anyone (no need to provide explanations).
If you cancel at least 24 hours before the activity day, you will get a full refund (otherwise, there will not be a refund). For example, if your tour is on February 28 at 8:30 AM, you should cancel before February 27 at 0:00 AM to get a refund. You will not get a refund if you cancel on February 27 at 0:01 AM or later.
On the other hand, this activity generally operates under most weather conditions (including rain) unless it is risky for participants (such as during heavy thunderstorms). If you arrive at the park and the weather prevents us from letting you in, we can try to reschedule or give you a full refund.
