Duration and Schedule

Children’s Policies
Children under 12 years old, according to current Costa Rican legislation, must use a child seat or booster.
Please provide the ages of all children at the time of booking so we can assign the appropriate child seat or booster according to their age.
Waiting Time Policy
The vehicle will wait for up to one hour at the assigned departure point.
After this courtesy waiting time, MonteTours Costa Rica will charge an additional $25.00 per hour, up to a maximum of 5 hours.
After this period, the client will be considered a No Show, and the full service cost plus applicable waiting fees will apply.
For pickups at Juan Santamaría International Airport — SJO, please note that the airport area often has heavy traffic.
The driver will arrive 30 minutes after your flight lands and will wait for 45 minutes.

Your driver will be carrying a sign with your name.
If the flight number is included in the reservation, the driver will monitor the flight and arrive 30 minutes after the actual landing time, adjusting for delays when possible.
If no flight number is provided, the driver will arrive at the scheduled pickup time listed in the reservation.
Pets Policy
Pets are not allowed on private transportation services, except for guide dogs accompanied by their owners.
This information must be provided at the time of reservation.
Ferry, Weather, and Road Conditions
MonteTours Costa Rica is not responsible for changes to ferry departure schedules.
MonteTours Costa Rica reserves the right to modify schedules, departure or arrival points, or cancel services due to uncontrollable events such as public demonstrations, strikes, weather conditions, road accidents, natural disasters, terrorist acts, or other events beyond our control.
Passenger Conduct
Under no circumstances will MonteTours Costa Rica transport individuals under the influence of alcohol.
