How can I make a reservation?
You can book any of our La Fortuna Horseback Riding adventures online by clicking the Book Now buttons underneath each offering. You can also use the general Book Now button (at the bottom of this page if you’re on a mobile device or the top-right corner on a desktop) and browse the different offerings.
The Book Now buttons will take you to a page where you will enter your name, your desired tour date, a pickup place (if you don’t have a car to get to us), and your payment information (we accept all debit or credit cards, as well as Google Pay and Apple Pay). Next, your payment will be processed, and you’ll get an instant confirmation email.
Do I need to make reservations?
Our La Fortuna Horseback Riding tours are highly exclusive. All visitors must have a reservation. Walk-ins are not allowed.
Besides, since late 2019, when COVID-19 emerged, the government imposed new capacity limits on some tours and parks, reinforcing the need to secure your spots in advance. Click the Book Now button for real-time availability and reservations.
If you’re trying to book a tour and don’t see availability online, we no longer have seats available for that day. However, you may contact us (our contact information is at the bottom of this page) to see if we have any last-minute cancellations that may free up the spots you need.
Do you offer transportation?
Suppose you don’t have a car to get to the meeting point of your Horseback Riding experience. In that case, we can arrange roundtrip transportation for you, as long as your lodge is inside the La Fortuna region. You’ll be able to add lift as you book online. Please note that some location may incur in extra fees.
Your pick-up times will depend on your location, so after you book online, you will first get your instant confirmation email, and then (the night before your tour day), we will send you a follow-up email with the pickup time at your lodge.
Can I cancel a reservation?
We encourage you to book your Horseback Riding tour ahead of time to secure your spots. You can book with confidence knowing we have a flexible cancelation policy.
After you book online, you will get an automatic confirmation email. This confirmation email contains a “Cancel” button, so you can easily cancel online without talking to anyone (no need to provide explanations).
If you cancel at least 24 hours before the activity day, you will get a full refund (otherwise, there will not be a refund). For example, if your tour is on February 28 at 8:30 AM, you should cancel before February 27 at 0:00 AM to get a refund. You will not get a refund if you cancel on February 27 at 0:01 AM or later.
On the other hand, if harsh weather conditions compromise your safety (such as heavy thunderstorms), we’ll contact you as far in advance as possible to try to reschedule or give you a full refund.
